Bedford Park: Woman & Two Dogs Struck in Hit & Run

The NYPD confirmed an 89-year-old woman who had been reported missing in the Williamsbridge section of The Bronx has been found.   Prior to being located, Violet Clarke, 89, of East 216th Street, had last been seen at her home on Sunday, May 22. She was described as female, 5 feet, 2 inches tall, Black and weighing 130 pounds. A “coquerel’s sifaka” baby (propithecus coquereli), born at the Bronx Zoo, has made its public debut.
