Car Smashes into Scaffold in Busy Fordham BID

SLAMMIN’ IN FORDHAM.
Police are on the lookout for the driver of this apparent stolen vehicle. The thief fled the scene after jumping a sidewalk and slamming into this sidewalk-shed. The incident was reported at just before 4 p.m., on Apr. 7, along East Fordham Road, between the Grand Concourse and Valentine Avenue. One witness reported the male driver got out of the vehicle and quickly started to run away from the scene, as police and fire crews were still responding. No injuries were reported.
