Bronx Notes: Historical Tour of Bronx River Parkway

Are you interested in hearing stories about the old neighborhoods of Wakefield, Williamsbridge, and Woodlawn all through a historical tour of the Bronx River Parkway? Meet history buffs and Bronx River Alliance volunteers Mike Gupta and Hank Stroobants at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 13 at the Gun Hill Road #2 train station.

During the walk, the volunteers will highlight the 1920s and 1930s apartment building along Bronx Boulevard and share historical photos. The tour will run from Gun Hill Road to East 233rd Street and Muskrat Cove.
