One of the suspects in the killing of 4-year-old Bronx boy Lloyd Morgan has been identified as 17-year-old Rondell Pinkerton. According to NYPD boss Ray Kelly, Pinkerton admitted to being at the scene and firing shots (in self defense) during an altercation at basketball tournament Sunday. Kelly said three or four people fired shots that day, but it’s unclear who fired the shot that hit young Lloyd Morgan. Neighbors had nothing good to say about Pinkerton, the Post reports.
Community Connections for Youth, a South Bronx nonprofit group, is working to support formerly incarcerated youth as they transition back into society, the Daily News reports.
