Police announced the bust of 10 gang members who stand accused of perpetrating at least seven shootings (including the incident shown above) in the 44th and 46th precincts in the Bronx. New York Magazine points out how the NYPD again used social media to make the arrests.

The 44th Precinct, one of the borough’s busiest, has been hit with a string of bodega robberies and police are looking for help identifying suspects, the Daily News reports.

Members of another notorious Bronx gang, the Courtlandt Avenue Crew, were convicted on Tuesday, the Daily News reports.

Bronx Jetro Restaurant Depot did it’s part to help restaurants recover from Hurricane Sandy damage, NY1 reports.

Bronx Catholic schools are facing the ax from the Archdiocese, including Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayer’s former school and Our Lady of Angels in Kingsbridge Heights, the Daily News and Riverdale Press report.

A treasure trove of paintings found by the late artist’s son depicting life in the Bronx during the ’50s and ’60s are now on display at Lehman College, the Daily News reports.

A news study be Bronx Zoo scientists is looking at the health of turtles in the Bronx River, the Daily News reports. Healthier turtles would be a good sign for a healthier Bronx River.
