Bronx Crime Watch: Kingsbridge Road Car/Baby Jacking Suspect Caught on Video


Yesterday, police released this video of man suspected of stealing a car on Kingsbridge Road that happened to contain a 7-month-old baby. The baby was found safe and sound near the corner of Jerome Avenue and Gobles Place but police are still looking for the suspect and are asking for help in identifying and locating him. He was caught on surveillance video inside a parking garage at 1521 Inwood Avenue, about a block from where the vehicle was found. Police say he tried to park the stolen car there about 15 minutes after the abduction.

The suspect (also pictured) is described as a male, Hispanic, heavy-set, wearing a black and white striped shirt, jeans and a baseball cap.
