Bridge and Street Closures in The Bronx from March 4 to April 6

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) has advised of the following street and bridge closures in the Bronx from Feb. 25 to March 5.

East 144th Street between Gerard Avenue and Exterior Street: This street will be closed Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through April 6, to facilitate crane operation.

East 146th Street between Gerard Avenue and Exterior Street/River Avenue (M.D.E.): This street will be closed Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through April 6, to facilitate crane operation.

East 146th Street between Gerard Avenue and Walton Avenue: This street will be closed Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through April 6, to facilitate crane operation.

East 162nd Street between Park Avenue and Courtlandt Avenue:  This street will be closed from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through March 5, to facilitate crane operation.

 

As reported, there are also some changes to traffic flows on Throggs Neck Bridge, while deck replacement work is being carried out.
