The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) has advised of the following street and bridge closures in the Bronx from March 25 to April 11.
East 144th Street between Gerard Avenue and Exterior Street: This street will be closed Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through April 6, to facilitate crane operation.
East 146th Street between Gerard Avenue and Exterior Street/River Avenue (M.D.E.): This street will be closed Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through April 6, to facilitate crane operation.
East 146th Street between Gerard Avenue and Walton Avenue: This street will be closed Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through April 6, to facilitate crane operation.
East 216th Street between White Plains Road and Barnes Avenue: This street will be closed Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through April 11, to facilitate crane operation.
Gerard Avenue between East 144th Street and East 149th Street: This street will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday to 8 p.m. Sunday through April 3, for associated closure for the crawler dismantle.
As reported, there are also some changes to traffic flows on Throggs Neck Bridge, while deck replacement work is being carried out.
