Bizzard Watch: It’s About To Get Blizzardy Up in Here (With Updates)

The snow is picking up here in the Bronx and making the roads more and more treacherous. Here are a few updates:

–The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning from now until 1 p.m. Saturday and is anticipating anywhere from one to two feet of snow today and tomorrow, with wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour.

–Alternate side parking was suspended today, but meters are still in effect.

–All public school classes and programs have been cancelled for Saturday.

–On Saturday and Sunday, alternate side parking and parking meters have been suspended.

–The city is urging residents to use 911 for emergencies only. Use 311 for all other concerns.
