Belmont: Police Appeal for More Information on Man Charged with Sex Crimes Involving a Child

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in obtaining further information on an individual who was arrested for various, alleged sex-related crimes committed against a child.

 

It was reported to police that sometime between October 2020 and November 2020, inside 2246 Webster Avenue in Belmont, the individual allegedly sexually assaulted a 4-year-old boy.

 

Eric L. Montes, 48, of Belmont, was arrested on July 27, at 9.43 a.m., and charged with alleged predatory sexual assault against a child, an alleged criminal sexual act, alleged sex abuse, allegedly promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child, allegedly possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child, allegedly possessing a sexual performance by a child, alleged forcible touching, and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

A person who is arrested and charged with a crime is innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
