The New York City Police Department is appealing to the public for help locating a 12-year-old boy from Belmont reported missing on Thursday, Jan. 11.
Police said that Jaylin Colon of Cambreleng Avenue by East 187th Street in The Bronx was last seen on Thursday, Jan. 11, at around 7.40 a.m., leaving his home. Police said he is described as Black, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds, has a medium complexion, short black hair, and brown eyes. They said he was last seen wearing a black coat, a brown sweater, and multicolored sneakers.
