Building applications have been filed with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) for a new, 8-story, mixed-use building at 2324 Webster Avenue in the Belmont section of The Bronx, as reported by YIMBY.

Located between East 184th Street and East 187th Street, the lot is near the 182nd-183rd Streets subway station, serving the B and D trains. Darwin Torres is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 74-foot-tall development will yield 32,325 square feet, with 27,205 square feet designated for residential space and 5,120 square feet for community facility space, according to YIMBY.

The building will yield 40 residential units, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 680 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, rooftop terrace, a 38-foot-long side yard, 12 open parking spaces, and 12 enclosed parking spaces.

Becall Engineering Services Inc. is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not yet been filed yet and an estimated completion date for the new structure has not yet been announced.
