The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached video and photo, who they say are wanted in connection to a robbery pattern identified across the 52nd Precinct, which covers some or all of Bedford Park, Fordham, Kingsbridge, Norwood, Bronx Park, and University Heights.
Police said the first incident occurred in Bedford Park on Saturday, April 20, at around 2.18 a.m. when a 32-year-old male victim was walking in front of 2735 Webster Avenue and two unidentified people approached him and displayed a knife. “The individuals forcibly removed his delivery bag and fled westbound on 197 Street,” a police spokesperson said. “There were no injuries reported.”
Police said the second incident also took place in Bedford Park on Saturday, April 20, at around 2.23 a.m. when a 23-year-old male victim was walking in front of 2961 Decatur Avenue, and two unidentified people approached him and displayed a knife. They said the two stole the victim’s cellphone, air pod, $20 in cash, and credit cards, before fleeing southbound on Decatur Avenue. “There were no injuries reported,” a police spokesperson added.
