Bedford Park: Three Sought in Robbery of 65-Year-Old Woman

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached photo who department officials said are sought in connection to a robbery that occurred in Bedford Park.

 

Police said that on Sunday, May 14, at around 10.45 a.m., the victim, a 65-year-old woman, was walking in front of 2955 Decatur Avenue when she was approached by three unknown people. “The individuals snatched the victim’s purse causing her to fall to the ground,” a police spokesperson said. “The purse contained $101 and credit cards.”

 

Police said the group fled northbound on Decatur Avenue. They said the victim’s credit cards were later used at various commercial establishments. “The victim suffered minor injuries and received medical attention on scene,” the spokesperson said.

 

Police said the first suspect is described as a male in his teens, is around 5 feet, 3 inches tall, has a medium complexion, and a slim build. Police said he was last seen wearing a tan cap, a blue surgical mask, a black jacket, black sweatpants, and white and gray sneakers.

 

They said the second suspect is described as a male in his teens, is around 5 feet, 9 inches tall, has a medium complexion, and a slim build. They said he was last seen wearing a blue surgical mask, a black, hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and gray sneakers.

 

Police said the third suspect is also described as a male in his teens, is also around 5 feet, 9 inches tall, has a medium complexion, and a slim build. They said he was last seen wearing a black surgical mask, a black and red, hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and gray sneakers.
