UPDATE 13-Year-Old Girl Reported Missing from Bedford Park Found Safe

The NYPD confirmed on Wednesday that a 13-year-old girl who had been reported missing from Bedford Park, in the 52nd precinct, has been found and is safe.

 

Earlier on Wednesday, Dec. 15, the NYPD had sought the public’s assistance in locating the missing teenager.

 

Prior to being found, Yesenia Soto, 13, of Briggs Avenue in Bedford Park, had last been seen in her home on Tuesday Dec. 14, at 7.30 a.m. She is described as female, 13 years of age, Hispanic, is 4 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds, has brown eyes, black hair, and had last been seen wearing a black jacket, a dark blue polo shirt, dark pants and white sneakers.

 

As reported, Yesenia had previously been reported missing on Tuesday, Oct. 26, when she was last seen leaving her home.
