The NYPD said a group of people displayed guns in the midst of “commotion,” classified as a reckless endangerment incident in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx.
On Saturday, Dec. 3, at around 5.50 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding the incident in in the vicinity of Grand Concourse and East 199th Street.
“Upon arrival, officers were informed there was a commotion with a group of individuals, and three individuals displayed firearms,” a police spokesperson said. “There are no reported injuries as a result of this incident,” the spokesperson added. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
As reported, in the early hours of Saturday morning, a non-fatal stabbing had been confirmed by police in an area close to where this incident occurred, in the vicinity of Valentine Avenue and East 198th Street, though they did not say if the two incidents were in any way related.
