The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is sought in connection to a robbery that occurred in Bedford Park.
Police said that on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at around 8.50 a.m., an 82-year-old female victim was at 2960 Grand Concourse, when a male approached and stole her necklace, valued at around $800, from around her neck. “The unidentified male then fled the location on a black and orange scooter, traveling eastbound on East 201 Street to parts unknown,” a police spokesperson said. “The victim did not sustain any injuries as a result of this incident.”
Police said the person sought is described as male, has a medium complexion and medium build, and is around 5 feet, 7 inches tall.
