Bedford Park: No Injuries Reported following Jerome Avenue Rail Yard Fire

There were no injuries reported following a trash fire at Jerome Avenue rail yard in Bedford Park on Friday morning, FDNY officials said.

 

An FDNY spokesperson said they were alerted to a report of a fire in the rail yard at 6.34 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, at IRT 4 Yard 204-Jerome-Gate HSE, located at Jerome Avenue and East 204th Street.

 

They said two FDNY units extinguished a rubbish fire and had cleared the scene within 50 minutes, with no injuries.
