Bedford Park: No Injuries Reported after Fire Breaks Out at Deli

The FDNY said no injuries were reported after a fire broke out at a deli in Bedford Park on Tuesday, May 14.

 

A spokesperson from the fire department said the FDNY received a call at 4.07 p.m. on May 14 for a report of a fire at a deli located at 10 East 198th Street, Liam’s Grocery & Deli.

 

The spokesperson said FDNY units arrived on scene and found a small grease fire in the kitchen. “Units checked for any extension and [the] fire was placed under control within an hour,” the spokesperson said. “No injuries were reported.”

No injuries were reported either after a fire broke out in University Heights on May 3, and following another report of smoke in a Norwood residential building on Sunday, May 5, there were also no injuries reported.
