Bedford Park: Man Sought for Aggravated Harassment of New York City Sheriff

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating the man seen in the attached photo who they said is wanted in connection with an aggravated harassment incident that occurred in Bedford Park.

 

Police said that on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at around 12.37 in the afternoon, the person, identified as Dimitry Rappoport, 41, sent an email to Lehman College, located at 250 Bedford Park Boulevard in Bedford Park, and threatened a New York City sheriff. They said he is being sought for aggravated harassment.

 

Norwood News asked the NYPD if they could provide further clarity or context around why the person would have contacted Lehman College to threaten a New York City sheriff. We did not receive an immediate response.
