Bedford Park: Man Sought following Non-Fatal Early Morning Shooting on Webster Avenue

The NYPD is asking the public’s help identifying the person or vehicle seen in the attached photos regarding a reckless endangerment incident (a shooting) that occurred in Bedford Park.

 

Police said that on Saturday, Feb. 11, at around 6.47 a.m., an unidentified man got out of a black sedan and fired a number of shots in the direction of a black SUV located in front of 2870 Webster Avenue. They said the gunman then got back into the sedan and fled the location southbound on Webster Avenue.

 

An NYPD spokesperson said, “The SUV also fled the location to parts unknown. There were no reported injuries or property damage as a result of this incident.”

The gunman is described as male, has a light complexion, is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs around 160 pounds, and is believed to be in his 20s, according to police. He was last seen wearing black pants, a black sweatshirt, and a black knit cap.
