Bedford Park: Man Beaten & Robbed on Webster Ave

Police are looking for two people wanted in connection with an early morning armed robbery and assault in Bedford Park.

 

They said the incident was reported at 1:40 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, when police were called to the sidewalk opposite P.S. 54, located at 2703 Webster Avenue, where a 39-year-old victim was approached by two males who demanded his jewelry, before he was struck twice in the head with a pistol.

 

They said the assailants stole the victim’s bracelet and chain before fleeing in an unknown direction. They said the victim sustained a minor laceration to the head and eyebrow and was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition. Police had no immediate description of the suspects, and no arrests have been made. The investigation remains ongoing.
