A video uploaded to the Citizens’ App shows a man seemingly being comforted by another man in the vicinity of the fire. It is unknown if either one was a resident of the building in which the fire broke out.

Later in the video, a person is heard swearing, though it is unclear who exactly is speaking.

Norwood News has asked the FDNY if the cause of the fire is yet known of if it’s still under investigation. We will update this story with any new information we receive.

The FDNY is reminding residents that spray caps are available for free from any firehouse. However, opening fire hydrants at full throttle is illegal, wastes water, and may cause a fire hazard.
