Building applications have been filed with NYC Department of Buildings for a new, seven-story residential building to be located at 172 East 205th Street in Bedford Park, as reported by YIMBY.
Located between Grand Concourse and East Mosholu Parkway South, the lot is two blocks from the Bedford Park Boulevard subway station, serviced by the B and D trains. Gregory Harvey is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 60-foot-tall development will yield 15,421 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 27 residential units, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 571 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 35-foot-long rear yard.
Gerald Caliendo Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed last month for the two-story building on the site. An estimated completion date for the new structure has not yet been announced.
