Bedford Park: Brush Fire Extinguished on Jerome Avenue

A brush fire has been extinguished in the Jerome Avenue train yard in Bedford Park, FDNY officials said.

 

Department officials said they received a call for ra report of smoke at 3119 Jerome Avenue located between West 205th Street and West Bedford Park Boulevard on Wednesday, March 5, at 11.38 a.m.

 

They said all fire in the 20 x 20 sq feet area of brush in the train yard was duly extinguished by three responding units, and the FDNY closed out the incident at 1.04 p.m.

 

It’s not the first time that a brush fire has been reported at this location, as reported.
