Bedford Park: 17-Year-Old Stabbed and Robbed in Store

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the men seen in the attached surveillance video and photos who are wanted for questioning regarding a robbery and stabbing that occurred in Bedford Park.

It was reported to police that on Sunday, June 13, at around 3 p.m., inside a store located at 2701 Decatur Avenue, located in the 52nd precinct, a 17-year-old male store customer was approached by two unidentified men who punched and kicked him about the body, threw baking flour and butter on him, and forcibly removed the sneakers he was wearing.

One of the men then removed a knife from behind the bodega counter and stabbed the victim once in his abdomen. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital in stable condition. The suspects fled in an unknown direction.
