UPDATE Bedford Park: Concern Over Car Break-Ins

A resident of Bedford Park recently complained that there have been several car break-ins taking place on East 205th Street between Jerome Avenue and Paul Avenue, and shared some video footage with Norwood News of broken glass on the block as apparent evidence of the break-ins. He stressed that he, himself, was not directly affected but was concerned about the situation nonetheless.

Williamsbridge: Man Sought for Attempted Murder

THE NYPD IS asking for the public’s help locating the person seen in the attached photo who they say is sought in connection with an attempted murder that occurred in Williamsbridge.

A Bronx man has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for his role in a criminal enterprise that defrauded individuals and businesses across the U.S. out of millions of dollars, federal prosecutors announced on Tuesday, Nov. 19. They said Bashiru Ganiyu was convicted of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and wire fraud, conspiracy to commit money laundering, conspiracy to receive stolen money, and receipt of stolen money in April following a jury trial.
