The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached photos who they say are wanted in connection with a robbery and assault that occurred in Norwood.
Police said that on Tuesday, March 18, at around 2.15 p.m., inside 3459 Dekalb Avenue, a residential property, two people approached a 39-year-old male victim and demanded money.
“The individuals then began to punch the victim about the body and forcibly removed approximately $70 dollars from his pocket,” a police spokesperson said. “The individuals then fled on foot northbound on Dekalb Avenue towards East Gun Hill Road. The victim was treated on scene for minor injuries.”

Police said the first suspect is described as male, has a dark complexion, a medium build, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and grey sneakers.
They said the second suspect is also described as male, has a dark complexion, a slim build, and was last seen wearing a black ski hat, a black jacket, white pants, and burgundy sneakers.
