The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person driving the vehicle seen in the attached photos who they say is wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in Fordham Manor.
Police said that on Tuesday, March 18, at around 8.20 p.m., police attempted to conduct a lawful car stop for an unidentified vehicle, whose driver ran a red light in the vicinity of West Fordham Road and Grand Avenue.
They said the person driving a gray, four-door, sedan Honda Accord bearing North Carolina plate #LDH1987 struck a marked police vehicle’s passenger side door, while attempting to flee from the NYPD.

“The vehicle fled the location, traveling eastbound on West Fordham Road to parts unknown,” a police spokesperson said, adding that the police officers occupying the vehicle sustained minor injuries and were taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
