Kingsbridge: One Sought for Assault on Older Adult inside 231st Street Subway Station

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying and locating the person seen in this photo who they say is sought in connection with an assault that occurred on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, at West 231st Street and Broadway in Kingsbridge.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in Kingsbridge.

Police said that on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at around 8.15 a.m. at the West 231 Street and Broadway subway station, an unidentified male approached a 63-year-old female victim as she was exiting a northbound 1 train and pushed her, causing her to fall on the platform. “The female sustained multiple injuries to her face, wrist and ribs and was treated on scene,” police said. “The suspect fled on the moving northbound ‘1’ train.”
