The NYPD confirmed on Thursday, May 26, that Bree Grullar, 14, who had been reported missing to police has been found.

 

On Sunday, May 22, a person, who wishes to remain anonymous, contacted Norwood News to say that her relative, Bree, had been reported missing. The family member provided a photo of Bree (attached) and described her as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes.

 

She said Bree attends Taft High School, located at 240 East 172nd Street in the Mt. Eden section of The Bronx, and prior to being found, she had last been seen in Washington Heights in Manhattan on Friday, May 20, at 8 a.m. en route to school (Taft High School). She added that Bree frequented the area around her school.

 

The family member said at the time, “Our family is searching desperately for missing teen, my cousin, Bree Grullar, age 14. Norwood News contacted the NYPD to corroborate the missing person’s report, and they confirmed they had a missing person’s report on file for Bree. “Any and all help is greatly appreciated,” the family member said.

 

On Monday, May 23, the family member contacted Norwood News once again to let us know Bree had been found, as had Vida Gonzalez, who had also been reported missing. Norwood News contacted the NYPD once again to check the accuracy of the report. On Thursday, May 26, we received confirmation from a police official that, indeed, both girls had been found.
